Essentially one step below an RN (Registered Nurse), LPNs usually perform the fundamental tasks in hospital wards:
- Changing beds
- Vital sign checks
- Passing medications
- May not give out narcotics! only RNs and doctors can do that.
They also may be found changing
bedpans and
wiping ass in those places which need those things done.
