Formed in 1920 the Society of Radiographers or SoR is the professional association and independent trade union representing radiographers mostly employed in the British National Health Service. It has some 18,000 members the vast majority of whom are registered by the Health Professions Council.
The Union is affiliated to the Trades Union Congress and the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists.
