Restoration is a small company involved in
Habitat Restoration in the
Sacramento River Delta. This company was founded in the early 1990s by Jeff Hart, with a project to shore up
levees using bundles of brush instead of
riprap... reducing
erosion and providing
habitat for
wildlife. The company has expanded a great deal and now is involved in various projects throughout the
Sacramento and
San Joaquin Valleys. One of their most impressive restoration projects is an area of literally thousands of new plants in a man-made wetland on
Decker Island in the
delta.
