Vinx is one of the coolest drummers ever. Not, he's not with a band, he plays various hand percussion drums (particularly African) as a solo act. I was privileged to see him open for the Spin Doctors with Cracker, at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in summer of '94. He's got some material out on CD; latest word I hear on him is that he runs a club in LA now. Go check out his website, vinx.com. Go buy some of his stuff on CD too, if you can get it.
