A fighting game published by Tecmo. Released (in the US) on Sega Naomi arcade machines in late 1999, on Sega Dreamcast in early 2000, and on Sony Playstation 2 in October 2000. Sequel to Dead or Alive, originally released in 1997 on the Sega Model 2 (arcade), Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn.

Surprisingly, Dead or Alive 2 has never gotten the mainstream attention of Tekken Tag or even Soul Calibur, even though it includes bouncing breasts, perky CG women in Catholic schoolgirl uniforms, and seamless multi-level fighting. DOA2 also features; tight gameplay, an intuitive counter system, detailed graphics, fluid animation, and an innovative tag team mode.
