Which God was cooler, the one from the Old Testament or the one from the New Testament? (idea)

I've always felt that the Old Testament God was much cooler. This is mostly due to the following:

• OT God was a lot more vengeful. Who's to say that fire, brimstone, and overall wrath can't be therapeutic for a deity? After all, they're only people, and God can make more of them.
• God's capricious nature. Creating the world in six days (A very difficult task, seeing as it took him a few days to create the mechanics of day and night?), then floods it, killing off all the people?
• Finally, New Testament God preaches goodness and forgiveness. If a police officer/judge/vigilante were to start forgiving psychopaths and my math teacher, you know what people would call that? Corruption!

Yes, God is actively engaged in taking bribes from people, in exchange for entry into Heaven! Blasphemy!
