The most
popular beer from the
Sierra Nevada brewery, also one of the more common
Pale Ales found in
bars.
Not as hoppy as an India Pale Ale, it still has good bitterness and bouquet to it. The bitterness comes from the Perle hops used, and the aroma from the Cascade (also used for aroma in Blind Faith). The end alcohol content is 5.6%.
