Cinderella’s Castle is the architectural icon of the Magic Kingdom parks at Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland. It is situated in the center of each park and is the point where the hub-like paths to the various lands meet. Neither Cinderella’s Castle contains an attraction but they have a restaurant and large tile mural depicting the story of Cinderella. The castle forecourt is frequently used for visiting school bands and other various shows. At night the castles gradually change color by way of special lighting techniques and serve as the focal point for the nightly fireworks shows.
