A west coast glass blower based in Eugene Oregon, credited with sparking the glass pipe movement that has claimed a large share of the paraphernalia market.

A Deadhead, Snodgrass used to go on tour with the Dead and sell his handblown pyrex pot pipes out of the back of his car. They often featured the motif of a skull wearing a top hat. You put the pot into the hat.

He would fume the glass with silver or gold to give it color.

These days he teaches seminars on glass blowing in Eugene for $275 a day and has a glass blowing equipment and supply business (in addition to producing pieces).

A Snodgrass pipe often sells for $50 or much more depending on size and details.
