Now that he is no longer with
Phish is creating a
solo career. He is about to release his first 'official' solo record in May 2002 (he had already released trwo others through the Phish website). Recorded at
The Barn, Anastasio´s home studio in
Vermont, the album features Trey with a backing band he began to put together on
April 17, 1998 called The
Eight Foot Fluorescent Tubes.
Now years latter the band has grown to become a 10 piece affair including horns. The band jams, but is more rooted in traditional musical styles including
funk,
calypso, and
rock.
