Friedrich Nietzsche. 1876 was a turning point in Nietzsche's life, when he felt compelled to reject his erstwhile
mentor Richard Wagner as a man and a thinker. He was also struck down by ill health during this year, and yet this compelled him to write one of his most
influencial philosophical works.
The book is a set of aphorisms on just about every subject under the sun, including the need to transcend Christian morals, the will to power, and the elite Free Spirits that are not bound by convention. He also touches on subjects such as art, passion, science, vanity and youth.
