Section Level, as defined by the British Army is reguarded as 6-12 men armed with light weapons with the possiblity of Light Machine Guns, Single Shot Greanade Launchers and Light Anti-Armor Weapons. The 2 Levels, Are Platoon Level and Company Level (Current Doctrine teachs a 2-up awareness of command stuctures).

In the British Army a section is defined as 8 men, with 2 LSW]'s (Light Machine Guns) and 6 IW's, currently the SA-80. The section is also equiped with some radios.
