Windows 7 God Mode

This "cheat code" will not make you or your computer invincible, but it will allow you to access all control panel tabs from one folder. They will appear grouped by type. For example, under "Power Options" I find "Change power-saving settings", "Change what the power buttons do", "Change when the computer sleeps", "Choose a power plan", "Choose when to turn off display", "Edit power plan", and "Require a password when the computer wakes"

To access this marvel of modern control panel shortcuts, perform the following simple procedure:

  1. Create a folder
  2. Name the folder GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  3. Profit!

Interesting trivia:
Shortcuts to this folder work just as well, its location doesn't matter.
The folder doesn't have to be empty! You can put files in the folder before you give it the God Mode name, and they will not appear in Windows explorer. The files are still there and can be accessed through a command prompt or by renaming the folder. Windows explorer will not allow you to drag or paste files into the folder while its God Mode is enabled.
