I have a
heart murmur. Apparently it is a
text book case, as
everyone seems
amazed when they first
hear it. Basically what a heart murmur involves is when one of the
valves of the heart does not
close completely. This
creates a
vacuum and a
sucking noise when
listened to with a
stethoscope.
I was operated on at the age of three because of it, and regularly go to the hospital to have it checked on. It is not life threatening, and has not affected my life in any way. Perhaps I tire a little more easily than others, although not noticeably.
