Love of
death or
dying. Sort of akin to the
Viking berserker mindset of
frenzy in battle. It has been said that this class of Viking
warrior would drink
mead and eat
Fly Agaric (otherwise known as
Amanita Muscaria) mushrooms before
battle. While these
mushrooms are not related to the popular
psilocybe genus, they do produce
hallucinations and profuse salivation among other things.
While in this state Viking berserkers would
charge headlong into battle killing anything and
everyone around them while ignoring
wounds. They would
experience lustmord, a kind of
drunken orgy of
carnage while in battle.
