The nuclear family of early 1980s New Wave, the band consisted of the mom (in a huge beehive) on bass, the dad (apparently completely hairless, in a day when the shaven-headed look was weird and creepy) on keyboard, and nine-year-old daughter Venus singing lead vocals. The songs dealt almost entirely with nine-year-old concerns; witness titles such as "Boys", "Pajama Party", and "Scott Baio" - a song of teen idol worship turned to heartbroken disillusionment. There isn't much info available on them these days. They performed live on New Wave Theater and their songs have turned up on a few compiliations such as The Obscurity File.
