Seaglass (thing)

Broken glass that has been smoothed and frosted by sand and surf that the tide brings to shore. A treasure among a secret society of beachcombers, this valuable stone is found in a variety of colors. It also makes great jewelry to give to your beloved but don't drill holes in it.

• Brown, typically due to the numerous beer bottles of this color.
• Green, another common color of beer bottle. For example, Heineken, Rolling Rock.
• White, from clear glass, frosted to resemble a solid color.

• Shades of blue; sky blue, periwinkle and turquoise.
• Olive green, and similar off greens.
• Plum, cobalt blue or purple, has increased since the introduction of Arizona Iced Tea.

• Red, from stained glass windows being shipped to the new world.
• Yellow, who knows what makes Yellow seaglass?
