In reply to my idle thought about a daylog RSS feed on March 6, 2010, DonJaime says: "There isn't an RSS feed of logs at present, but there is a nodelet called New Logs, which you can activate at your nodelet settings.

Thank you, Jaime. Though I wonder, is there any way that perhaps New Logs could generate an RSS feed of itself? An RSS feed of each nodetype would be pretty wonderful, actually... The Everything2 Fiction feed? An E2 Poetry feed, delivered straight into my Google Reader every morning? I'd sign up for that, no question.

I discovered the website LibriVox on Saturday, in search of audiobooks to fill my otherwise-too-quiet gardening hours. LibriVox is, essentially, the audio Project Gutenberg: public-domain audiobooks of copyleft classics, recorded by enthusiastic amateurs and made freely available for download online in mp3 or ogg.

In short: Audiobooks! Free! Go go go.

A few recommendations...

Triplanetary by E.E. Smith

The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen by Rudolf Erich Raspe (still in progress)

Tik-Tok of Oz by L. Frank Baum

...All books that I think of fondly but which I'd be unlikely to seek out, sit down with and read on a whim. Having them read to me by lovely people from the internet while I tend my geraniums, though, is the best thing.

My weekend went well, by the way. I'm a bit worn out tonight. 16 hours of semi-tedious gardening in a semi-chilly greenhouse on a weekend can take its toll on a body when yr no longer accustomed to it.
