The QUAlity Network Technoligy for User-Orientated Multi-media Project existed between October 1998 and November 2000. Its goal is to create a successor to the TEN-34 network capable of speeds up to 155 Mbps, to test new technologies such as RSVP and IPv6, and to guarantee high QoS levels.

The result was the TEN-155 network linking national research networks in 16 European countries.
