Brandon "Bam" Margera was born on September 28,
1979 to
Phil and April Margera along with older brother
Jess Margera, in
West Chester, PA.
Bam is best known for his stunts on
Jackass with
Johnny Knoxville and his preformances in
Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huck Jam Tour; however, before he ever became well known in the Pro Skating world, he was often seen skating in
CKY videos.

Volcom,

Electric,
Fairman's,
Spitfire,
Destroyer, and
Jones Soda. He is most often seen riding his "
BAM" skateboard made exclusively for him by Element Boards.
Bam is admired by many
skateboarding fans for his
temerity and courage at taking stunts to new and better levels. To put it simply, Bam has
balls and people love him for it. Bam claims
Ville Valo is his hero and greatest influence, however he admits that
Tony Hawk,
Johnny Knoxville,
Kerry Getz and others have also had a large impact on his life.
He is currently dating Jenn Rivell, a friend from
high school. He is also working on a movie "
Your Life is Pathetic," which is about one of his best friends,
Ryan Dunn.
I personally admire Bam for his skills and his fearlessness. If everyone were as fearless as Bam, we would all be willing to skateboard straight into walls to get reactions and
jump off bridges to see how much it would
hurt when we hit the water. His skateboarding
ethics teach, in more walks of life than just
extreme sports, that you have to be willing to take risks to get the outcome you want. Once you set your eyes on something, work your ass off to get it perfect and in the end,
broken bones and all, you gain more than had you just walked away.
