Prince William Arthur Philip Louis is the older son of
Prince Charles, the
Prince of Wales, and
Princess Diana; he is in line for the
throne of the
United Kingdom after his father.
He was born 21 June 1982 and recently finished at Eton having studied geography, biology and history of art. He likes to play football, rugby,
tennis, swimming and water polo and shoot clay pigeons; he also enjoys reading and attending movies. After Eton, he spent 10 weeks in Chile kayaking, helping track a rare deer and volunteering in the small village of Tortel with Raleigh International. This is part of the "gap year" before he goes to university.
