A self described pirate punk band, Tsunami Bomb emerged in 1998 as a pop-punk quintet (then with keyboardist Oobliette Sparks) from the always fertile Bay Area in California. The group blends punk's attitude with a great deal of pop sensibility and a knack for catchy melody. Their lyrics are witty and literate, with a hint of theatre.

Likely the best exposure the band has received to this point came from being part of the 2001 Warped Tour. Agent M (Emily Whitehurst) is the sister of underground pop musician Logan Whitehurst. As of this writing, the band is recording its first full length album.
