The
off-by-one error Lord Brawl is refering is the colation between
HAL and
IBM. You can get "IBM" by replacing the existing letter with the letter that would come after that letter. Its
confusing, so let me give you the step through.
- H + 1 = I (H is the 8th letter, after H is I, the 9th letter)
- A + 1 = B (A is the 1st letter, after A is B, the 2nd letter)
- L + 1 = M (L is the 12th letter, after L is M, the 13th letter)
