To put it simply; GDisk is nothing short of an amazing utility. GDisk is/was part of the great suite known as Symantec's/
Norton Ghost. GDisk specializes in dealing with
partitions and the
master boot record (
MBR), through gdisk within 16
keystrokes you could remove every single partition on your system ("gdisk /del /all"), or fully erase your MBR ("gdisk /mbr")!
I personally found it amazingly useful when I wanted to get rid of
Windows (The OS), no anoying nags or anything. You've heard of "
Gone in 60 seconds"? GDisk alowed me to remove Windows in 5 - Now thats power!
PS: Yeh, I know, it dose more then just remove things - but thats the most important
asset to me =p
