Liisa (obviously named after Eliza) is an IRC bot written by Toni Willberg. He originally just wanted to see how hard it would be to make a bot that simulates IRCing teenagers. That turned out to be easier than expected, of course (considering the rather, uh, limited nature of conversation they keep up).

Later, the bot started collecting all interesting phrases it heard, so it has become rather sophisticated. It has succeeded in creating the effect similiar to Eliza in that people who talk with it can't immediately tell it's a bot.
