3 Train (7th Avenue Express)
The 3 Train runs from 148 Street in Manhattan to the corner of New Lots Avenue and Livonia Avenue in Brooklyn. It runs express in Manhattan and local in Brooklyn, and does not run at night. For nighttime service to 148 St, take the 2 train to 135 St and transfer to M7, M102, or shuttle bus. Use the 4 train for service to New Lots Av, Brooklyn. It is a part of the Red Line and while in midtown Manhattan it can be found on 7th Avenue, thus the name.
