Addition was first released in a limited run with a movie ticket for the first Evangelion movie, Evangelion: Death and Rebirth. It was the fourth Evangelion Music album to be released and it contains even more Fly Me to the Moon mixes. The 12 tracks on the CD are made up of 5 vocal tacks, 3 instrumental tracks, 4 drama tracks (the best being the Shuukyoku no Tsudzuki - Evangelion Drama Track). The album contains two main classical pieces George Frideric Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus (used in Evangelion Episode 22 during the 15th Angel's attack) and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 (Ninth Symphony) in D minor Op. 125, "Choral," (Ode to Joy) (used at the end of Evangelion Episode 24).
