Person A then performs measurements on the beam without actually determining its state, in the process destroying the beam at A's receptor. A then sends the details of the measurements to B, using normal communication methods.If B now measures the state of his beam it will be found to be in the same state that A's would have been if it had been measured fully. Thus the beam at A's receptor has been transferred to B's.
