NO NO NO, this has NOTHING to do with St. Olaf, Minnesota, a fictional locale from The Golden Girls, a bad TV show from the 80s. If you don't know what any of that means, good. St. Olaf College IS a 4-year liberal arts undergraduate college in Northfield, Minnesota, affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It was founded in 1874 by fellows who wanted to start a decent, Norwegian Lutheran school. About 3,000 students now attend the school, which is best noted for a kick-ass music program most famous for the St. Olaf Choir.
