I forget where I heard this but it is one of my favorite stories:

A man wished to see what Heaven and Hell were like and was granted the privilege of visiting both.

In hell, it was monstrous. Scores of people sat across from each other at various ten foot, round tables that each had a plate of delicious food in the center. Each person, however, had a thirteen-foot pair of chopsticks that prohibited access to the food, and so each person was sad and hungry.

The man went to heaven and saw the exact same scenario: Multiple ten foot, rounded tables with delicious food in the center and each person with a pair of thirteen-foot chopsticks. Yet, in heaven each person was happy and well fed.

Why? Because in heaven, the people were feeding each other.
