The Ashera is a
domestic house
cat bred exclusively by
Lifestyle Pets, a
Delaware-based specialty pet company. It is the cross of a
tabby cat and the
offspring of an
African serval and an
Asian leopard cat. They grow to be about 30 pounds, and are marked by
variegated spots that resemble those of a
leopard. They require no care beyond that of any other house
cat, but apparently take well to being walked on a leash. They are reported to be very
sociable, and as perfect playmates for children and other pets. These cats have only recently been marketed for sale by
Lifestyle Pets, and currently cost $22,000 plus
applicable taxes and delivery
fees to acquire.
