The Ozark mountain region is home to the highly decorative egg tree, a landscaping feature of every good hillbillies garden. They were used as a charm to keep those darn pesky witches away, until the 1930s when the practice began to lose popularity.

To utilize the power of the egg tree you simply need to acquire a dead bush, from which you must crop the limbs. Decorate the tree with dozens (or hundreds, as was common in the Ozarks) of blown eggs. Put this bizarre looking plant in the grounds of your house and that will be the end to the constant stream of witches that come to your door (and the end of any other visitors...no one likes to spend time with the neighbourhood Crazy Egg Man).
