A children's game that is best played with a large group. Excellent for teaching the dangers of gossip.

Everyone sits in a circle. The child who starts whispers a nonsense sentence into the ear of the adjacent child. This one repeats what s/he hears into the ear of the next child, and so on,around the circle. When the sentence makes its way to the last participant, s/he stands up and repeats for the group what s/he was told, which is usually amusingly different from the seed sentence.

Variants of this game are usually more interesting, such as chain-murder mystery, a mime version played by improv troupes, and a version in Hebrew that I was horrible in, back when I had to learn the language.
