Statutory Employees (person)

Who are statutory employees:

• full time life insurance sales agent
• drivers who distribute meat products, vegetable products, fruit products, bakery products, or pick up and deliver laundry or dry cleaning, if the driver is an employer’s agent or paid on commission
• individuals who work at home on materials or goods the employer supplies and that must be returned to the employer, if the employer also furnishes specifications for the work to be done.
• full-time traveling or city salesperson who works on the employer’s behalf and turn in orders to the employer from wholesalers, retailers, or contactors.
