What I think's even freakier than all Democrats(or Republicans) agreeing on some issue like abortion, is that they all agree on very specific issues, where you'd really expect at least a little disagreement.

For instance, just because I've been talking about it: the execution of Gary Graham in Texas. I mean, we are talking about a specific case here. And yet, everyone is divided along party lines. All the Democrats cry injustice, and all the Republicans say "kill the fucker". Regardless of who's right, wouldn't you expect at least some Democrats to think he should be executed? Wouldn't you expect at least some Republicans to think he shouldn't be?

I mean, I'm sure it couldn't have anything to do with the fact that G.W. Bush is the governor of Texas. Even politicians wouldn't sink so low as to play games with a man's life just to try to boost the poll numbers of their respective candidate, would they...?
