60's Television series that was remade in 1999 as a feature length film. The original series, which ran for three seasons, was based on the premise that an alien could hide in a bachelor's apartment while trying to fix his ship. In theory, this was a comedy.
Starred: Bill Bixby as Tim, and Ray Walston, as Uncle Martin.
Bixby later became a famous, large green monster, Walston became Mr.Hand, the teacher we all love to hate, from Fast times at Ridgemont High.
Walston has a cameo in the new movie version.
Mr.Bixby, sadly, is deceased.
