I saw a
bumper sticker in a store at the beach that said "
Geek Magnet." My
boyfriend encouraged me to get it, for reasons that are beyond me, but I bought it and put it on my little gray
honda until I had a very unfortunate accident and had to get rid of it. Luckily, I saved the sticker, and its on the back of a
notebook I have now.
I'm not sure why I think it's so
amusing, but it is. I think it's cool, and I just don't understand why other people don't
appreciate it as much as I do. I know people see it, but no one ever comments on it. I think it's that they can't understand how cool it would be to be
idolized by a
bunch of geeks. When you think about it, geeks are very
loyal followers. There is always something they cling to with almost an
obsessive nature, even if it means
public ridicule. It would just be cool to be a geek magnet.
I just wish everyone could understand my
bumper sticker, and what it means to me. I think its my own private fantasy, to be
queen of the geeks! They are my
loyal minions, set out to
undermine the government.
