This is a
SCSI protocol. SCSI
devices that use this method use a second wire to drive the signal across the
media. The
additional wire allows a maximum cable length of 25 meters. Devices that use
LVD or
HVD are not compatible with
Single-Ended devices, and are meant to replace them.
