schoolchildren of that era developed their own version of the jingle:
I'm Chiquita Banana, and I'm here to say,
Get rid of your teacher the easy way.
You just eat a banana, put the peel on the floor
And
watch your teacher slide right out the door!
This is highly
consistent with other
schoolyard songs celebrating violent
anarchy, such as "
This land is my land" and "
The Burning of the School" (which is sung to the tune of "The
Battle Hymn of the Republic" -- must remember to investigate possible
fruit connection).
