  • This writeup was once part of a beer metanode Gorgonzola created when he didn't know any better.   Feel free to tell me about new brands of beer you encounter and I'll add them, even if there is no writeup.    Notice that I prefer to have particular brands listed under a brewery name, let me know if you see any relationships that should be changed.

Editors may feel free to add/reorganize entries as they see fit (such as suggestions received in Broken Nodes) without /msging me first. A Blab afterwards would be appreciated.

Thanks to wharfinger, inyo, aphexious, and all the others who made suggestions when this was part of the metanode.

Wow -- conform, C-Dawg and ThePope piped right in with suggestions.

Update, August 2002: There is not a hint of uncertainty that Heisenberg knows a lot about beer, especially koelsch.

Update, September 2002: Rougevert has treated me to a primer on Australian beers. He is responsible for Foster's, Lion Nathan, James Boag, Kronenbourg and Unibrue.

Update, October 2005: Submit a writeup to Broken Nodes if you want an editor to add your favorite brand. Editors are free to do as they please.

Thirsty Work! Thanks, have a cold one (or however your favorite poison is best served).
