Ορθρος

Geryon's dog, which Heracles killed when he made off with Geryon's flocks. He was the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and therefore brother of Cerberus. By mating with his own mother Echidna, he fathered the Theban Sphinx. The descriptions of Orthros vary. Sometimes he is said to have several heads, sometimes a snake's body.
