The second of Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies is one of his better-known works. It is a solo piano piece dedicated to Count László Teleky that was composed in 1847 and published in 1851.

The song has made appearances in the Bugs Bunny "Rhapsody Rabbit" episode, the movie "One Hundred Men and a Girl", a preview for Woody Allen's latest movie, and probably a half-dozen other places.

Like many of the other Hungarian Rhapsodies, 19 of which are published, the song is in two parts. The first part is slow, improvisational, and marked by feeling; while the second part is fast, fun, and catchy (It's catchy IMO anyway). I heartily recommend listening to this song.
