A fictional brand of canned ham that served as a running joke on the Late Show with David Letterman during the mid 1990s. Dave gave a lucky audience member a Big Ass Ham each night. He also got various celebrities to do fake endorsements for the product.
It has since joined the dearly departed Thrill-Cam, Hal Gurnee's Network Time Killers, and A Guy in a Bear Suit in the annals of late night history.
