terrible joke ahead: (that unfortunately, I feel must be mentioned).
A
friend of mine who used to go to an all girls school in upstate
New York told me this. In their internal academic
network at
Wells, I believe she told me that their mail server is named
Godot.
(With a quick check, it seems as if it used to be named such)
This leads itself to
obvious terrible
literature jokes before reading
email in the
morning. However, i think it is an
excellent general server name, even though i have never read the play by
Samuel Beckett, mentioned above.
