A rather interesting artist collective based in
Kyoto,
Japan. They tour all around the world presenting multimedia projects...more like
art happenings or
performance pieces really... tackling various aspects of
modern society. Some of dumb type's installations, such as OR, use an amalgamation of
acid jazz, ambient music and noise,
video montages, and various types of
modern dance. Overtly
philosophical and
political messages are used as well... as with all types of
art.
