This movie was based on the
Stephen King novella, "
The Body". It was printed in the book "
Different Seasons".
A
coming of age tale, set in the town of
Castlerock. Four boys decide to go find the body of a dead kid. On the way, of course they experience a lot more than they expected.. and in the end come back a little bit wiser.
This movie has an excellent cast.
River Phoenix,
John Cusack,
Kiefer Sutherland,
Corey Feldman,
Wil Wheaton,
Richard Dreyfuss,
Jerry O'Connell.
The four lead kids,
Corey Feldman,
Wil Wheaton,
Jerry O'Connell, and
River Phoenix all develop some sort of success later on in their careers -- except
River Phoenix, died before his time.
