This album features old school guitar riffs in the style of KISS,AC/DC and Deep Purple. The drumming on this album is fast and intense, with much gusto. They retain the 2/2 punk backbeat on many songs, and wear their influences on their sleeves.

The Donnas cover of Judas Priest's "Living after Midnight" is true to form and really captures the earnest rock and roll spirit that The Donnas posses.

The Donnas are even better live. Their forthright style and ironic paeans to the rock moves created by their forefathers, imbues their show with a rock and roll energy that is tactile and palpable. They transcend average garage bands to become the avatars of the Gods of Rock. The Donnas are tapping into the well that supplied Elvis, The Rolling Stones, and Nirvana.
