Highland Toffee is a slab of toffee presented as a candy bar and could be found in all good British school tuckshops for 5p throughout the '80's and '90's. To eat a full bar was to risk cramp of the jaw for the rest of the day.

Towards the end of the '80's the manufacturers of Highland Toffee tried to take advantage of the bars popularity by creating the phenomenal 'giant' Highland Toffee bar, whcih retailed at 15pence.

Unfortunately, the larger offering failed to take off as anybody attempting to get through a whole bar was likely to lose several teeth in the awesome chewing process - although how nobody was sent reeling towards a hyperglaucomic coma i'll never know.
