(Actually, I'm quite surprised that this node hasn't been created yet.)

Los Amigos Invisibles is a funk/disco/hardcore lounge band from Venezuela. They recently crossed over in America and have gained a rather large following in The Twin Cities, San Franciso, and New York, among other places in the U.S. Their big break came when they were discovered by David Byrne of Talking Heads fame, and their subsequent album was produced by The king of Quirk. Later, when Byrne was hosting Sessions at West 54th, he invited Los Amigos Invisibles to play on the show, and that was many American's first opportunity to witness the six young machos with their hearts, and something else, on their sleeves.

Los Amigos Invisibles is really an Acid Jazz group that likes to be funky if you know what I mean.
