There is a corresponding project, for the Nordic languages, called Project Runeberg. It had, until recently, been a somewhat neglected project, for lack of devoted participants. However, it has recently seen an upsurge of activity, and the progress looks very promising.

A number of classics of Nordic literature (including some golden oldies of Swedish Science fiction) have been made available through Project Runeberg, and it is well worth visiting, if you read Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Icelandic - or Finnish. At the moment, the activists involved in the project are mostly Swedes, so there is a certain over-representation of Swedish texts.

The URL for Project Runeberg, in March 2001, was: http://www.lysator.liu.se/runeberg/.
